The german electronic duo's third album 'Monkeytown' is being released Sept. 30th. It is an album that has no shortage of ideas. If you are at all interested in where music is going you should pay attention to this album. These are the types of ideas that mainstream producers will eventually pass off as their own two years from now. Modeselektor has produced some wonderful tracks in the past but this album in particular is their most flawless and fresh. Not repetitive, cheesy, or stale; lab rat producers take note, this is how it is done.
It should be noted that I embedded these stems as an example of what the album sounds like. However the entire album experience is really where it shines.
