Life can be funny contradiction. In music one can listen to a band live and yearn for them to sound more like they do on their album. Conversely, you can listen to an album and yearn for the more freeing sound of the live performance. The one thing that I have noticed about the danish band Efterklang (try pronouncing that one) is that they have managed to capture a live experimental sound. Listening to Parades provides a more freeing experience than most albums which is kinda the point.
