Les Concerts a Emporter
French filmmaker, Vincent Moon, has a way of capturing a performance in such a unique light that it gives you some whole new insight into the people whom have chosen to make music their life. He does this a few ways, one being not having a set venue. The bands are forced into everyday elements such as walking down the street or riding in a vehicle. The drummers often resort to tapping on a table or the inside of an elevator. What makes these performances transcend a typical performance is the rawness, one take voyeurism style of the camera. These episodes of music, over ninety of them, are worth taking the weekend and getting acquainted with some music you are not familiar or grabbing insight into the music you already are.
