I had the pleasure of creating a metaphorical look into the zone for Academy Sports and Outdoors. As I am getting into running more and more, there comes a time where you have a breakthrough to a euphoria and you feel like you could go forever. It is that moment that I really wanted to emphasize in this commercial. I took it literally, the characters 'breakthrough' their environments to reveal a more dramatic place.
I really enjoy pushing my knowledge and skills. This project was no execption. It ran the gamut from Camera Map Projection to Particle Scripting. Ultimately I was pleased with the results. I really think this is some of my best compositing work to date. All post production was handled eniterly by me and only within the span of 7 days.
I really want to thank everyone for letting me do my thing. Special Thanks to my brother Stephen for the score. Epic.
